North Cheshire Clarion Mere 200km & 160km Audax Rides

Event details

North Cheshire Clarion are organising two Audax rides on Sunday 26th February 2023,  “A Mere Two Hundred” (200km) and  “A Mere Century” (160km).  The start location is at Whitley Village Hall with parking, refreshments and toilets available. Cafes along the route are at Ellesmere, Market Drayton/Prees Heath, Audlem and Alderley Edge. Soup, rolls, cake and tea are provided at the finish. 

The routes pass the many Meres of Cheshire and Shropshire (Hatchmere, Delamere, Newton Mere, Blake Mere, Ellesmere, White Mere, Colemere, Combermere, Redesmere, Mere and Budworth Mere, ). This is excellent cycling countryside with lots of quiet lanes. Although not hilly rides, there are numerous undulations.
