2.1
The Clarion’s objects shall be: To protect and further the interests of cycling and cyclists. To promote Mutual Aid, Good Fellowship and support for the Principles of Socialism.

2. Aims and policies
2.1
The Clarion’s aims are to protect and further the interests of cycling and cyclists.
In all its activities, the Clarion and its members shall endeavour to promote and encourage; Mutual Aid, Good Fellowship, Fairness, Equality, Inclusion and Diversity.

2.2
The Clarion shall not tolerate harassment or bullying in any form, including but not restricted to; verbal, non-verbal, written or in social media.

Motion to conference: (from Tuxford section)
That any promotional (e.g. printed, online or social media) activities, using logos, phrases, sentences, headlines or straplines shall not use the outdated terms of ‘socialism’, ‘socialism hope of the world’, ‘lack of fellowship is death’ or any similar variant including these words.
