If you are reading this and you are not a member of the Clarion, then welcome, we’d like to see you. We hope there’s a Clarion club near you…at least within riding distance. If not don’t fear, you can still join.
How about forming a local section of the Clarion, it really is easy and if you need to while you are still small you can take advantage of the National Clarion and even race under our name, saving you affiliation fees to other bodies. The National Clarion Cycling Club is affiliated to British Cycling, CTT and CTC
If you are interested in joining the Clarion, it is always best to join via a section. Check with that section, what their fees are (they vary a little) then complete the Section form and send or take it to them. If you join through a section you only pay £8 to the National Clarion. 2016 Membership Application Form for a new member to a local section
Alternatively you can, if you do not live near a section, join the Clarion directly for £16, simply fill in the private membership form and send it to the Membership Secretary. 2016 Membership Application Form for a new Private member
The first thing to do is get a small group of people together who like the idea of running a local section. Then contact us with the following: Your proposed name (e.g. Paris Clarion CC), your nominated section secretary who will handle subs and when you hope to start. Today the membership fee to the Clarion for a member of a section is a king’s ransom of £8 per senior member.
