The National Clarion Cycling Club formed in 1895 and has some 25 member sections throughout the UK. From the West of Scotland down to Brighton & Hove.

Plan now for the Clarion track champs and Youth session - August 30th
On Sat' August 30th the National Clarion combines its annual track champs (3-6pm) with a Youth taster/coaching session (1-3pm) this is a great day, because later that evening is the Salford Nocturne Elite/Pro circuit races in the dark http://www.nocturneseries.com/ youths are welcome from Clarion sections or by invitation, if you are interested contact bike@clarioncc.org .
The Clarion goes to York and survives the wind
The York cycle rally was enjoyed by all those who manned the Clarion stall and we would like to welcome those new members who signed-up on the day; Tim Chadderton (Lincoln), Mr McKenzie (Liverpool), David Plant (Warrington), Robert Beattie (Newcastle upon Tyne), Stuart Warburton (Coalville), Sam Huby (Boston Spa), Mark Hudson (Sheffield), and all others who took away membership forms. We look forward to seeing you at forthcoming Clarion events.
South Yorkshire Clarion planned
Due to the planned move of the National Secretary to South Yorkshire, we are considering re-establishing the South Yorkshire Clarion, if you are interested in helping out or being part of S. Yorks Clarion contact bike@clarioncc.org
Simon Jacklin (Fenland) 6th in Nat' U16 - 25m
Our very own Simon Jacklin of Peterborough recorded a superb 1.3.46 in the National Junior Champs, becoming the 6th fastest U16 and 18th overall.

The National Clarion CC is not linked to the National Clarion CC 1895, that club was formed by a name change from Oakhill Clarion in 2006. Neither Oakhill Clarion nor National Clarion CC 1895 (North Lancs Union) are sections of the Clarion. This Clarion is the only one with continual (and democratic) organisation since its founders met in 1894. This Clarion has evolved to what it is today a GREAT bike club with respect for its history and its current membership.
