The National Clarion Cycling Club was formed in 1894, today with more members than we have had since the 1960s and 30 sections from Tuxford to Nottingham (and lots of other places much further afield)...fellowship awheel.

The National Clarion 2015 membership year began on 1st September.

10th to 12th October, Clarion Autumn Ride-Out, staying at Sherwood Forest YHA. Organised and led rides by Tuxford Clarion on Saturday and Sunday, low cost, fun, sociable cycling weekend with great rides to Clumber Park, Southwell Minster and across to the Trent. Please book YHA via Ian Clarke at firstname.lastname@example.org October, Clarion Hill Climb Champs on a closed road hill organised by Tuxford Clarion. Entries to the address below, on CTT forms – by 1st of October. Hill is Cocking Hill on the Kirton to Laxton Road near Ollerton, approx’ 1 mile long. Entry fee is £10 of which £5 will go to the Holocaust Centre and Museum http://holocaustcentre.net/ Reg. Charity Number 509 022 who will host the HQ.No lower limit for Youth riders, but will need a parental consent formClosed road hill climb from 9am to 12pm
Race start – first rider off at 10am in minute intervals.
